What to expect at Maddie and Mark's:

Step 1:

Measure

When you come into the store you will be greeted by our team - once we have had a little chat, made everyone feel comfortable & maybe had a wee peak of the train, we will get onto measuring. We use a Startrite gauge to get an indication of what size your child is. This is a great starting point for us. We will also take into account the width, depth and shape of the foot and not these down on our fitting card -  as all of these can impact how a shoe fits. 

Step 2:

Fitting

Once we have established your needs and requirements - as well as favourite colours and styles, we will pop into the stockroom and bring a selection… this is when our knowledge of brands is put to the test!  All brands fit differently- some short, some wide, some deep some shallow. We have barefoot options, barefoot friendly, shoes that can work with othotics and splints, as well as light up trainers and of course shoes that are super fast and very jumpy (the important things!) but don’t worry - we will guide you through it and work with you to find the best shoe and fit.

Step 3:

Thank You!

Once we have found that perfect pair, it’s sticker time!  As a big thank you there is always a sticker and a high five! We have a loyalty card that you can download onto your phone called the Magic Stamp, with every £40 you get a stamp, and on the 5th purchase you receive a discount as a thank you.

You’ll find our colourful crew dotted around the store, adding a sense of fun and playfulness to your visit. They’re here to create a warm, relaxed environment where little ones feel right at home — whether it’s their first shoe fitting or just a pop-in to say hello.
